Windang Thai Gardens restaurant

Windang is a lovely little seaside and lakeside village on the border of the cities of Shellharbour and Wollongong. It is a popular destination with Sydneysiders who are attracted by the views and fishing spots. It is also the location of the Thai Gardens restaurant where we had a lovely lunch.

Entrees included:

Chicken Satay skewers - tender pieces of chicken on skewers with a peanut satay sauce
Crying Tiger - tender strips of beef with a delicious dipping sauce featuring lime juice, fish sauce and coriander.



Mains:
Lamb with yellow curry sauce ($15.90)



Homock Talay - Red curry Seafood with coconut milk and thai herbs ($16.90)

BBQ duck salad


I loved the colour scheme. It was a relaxing, calming venue with touches of Thailand adoring the walls including carved elephant heads, waterfalls, painting of a Thai village with boats travelling to market with fresh produce and other elements.

    After looking at your blog we went to Windang Thai Gardens for dinner last night. The food was delicious. Mixed entree was the best mixed entree I've ever had.

    Unfortunately they forgot about our main meals but it was worth the wait. Would definitely go there again.
