On our way to Hobart earlier in the month, we had arrived at the airport an hour and a half early so there was enough time to buy something to eat before our 3.30pm flight. A visit to Harry's Cafe De Wheels led to a purchase of a meat pie with pureed peas, mashed potato and gravy - affectionately known as a 'Tiger'. I purchased it for lucky Phil who was very grateful for something nice, warm and tasty on a cold Winter's day.
A photo journal by Vanessa Pike-Russell focused on food in the Illawarra Region south of Sydney and north of the South Coast of New South Wales. I believe in promoting local businesses and enjoy sharing my food journey with you.
